About Us
Meet the Artzy Twinz!
Jill and Jodi have always had a passion for art. From painting posters for their shared bedroom to creating school projects, artistic talent was in their DNA from the beginning. So, when it came time to head off to college, they wanted to combine their love for art and children and decided to major in Elementary Education at the University of Texas in Austin! From there, although distance separated them (Jodi moved to Houston and Jill headed back to Cleveland) they mirrored similar paths as children’s art teachers. Now, they’re finally reuniting after 35 years to open Artzy Twinz – a dream come true!
Both Jill and Jodi have children living in Chicago and couldn’t think of a more perfect location to launch than in the North Shore suburbs! Artzy Twinz offers creative art classes for children ages 2-10, drawing classes for older kids, special themed adult night classes, grandparent and grandchild classes, special mommy and me classes, drop-in days, and of course themed birthday parties! They will also have camps for no school days during the school year as well as a full summer of camps!
